More than ten years after his last visit to Hong Kong, legendary jazz pianist, composer and bandleader Herbie Hancock returns with a live performance at Wonderland – offering local audiences a rare opportunity to experience the artistry of a master up close.One of the most influential and forward-thinking musicians of our time, Hancock has created groundbreaking music throughout his seven-decade career, pioneering genre-defying fusions of jazz, rock, funk and electronica, and inspiring fans and musicians across the musical spectrum worldwide with albums like Headhunters and Mwandishi, Rockit and Future Shock.

Now in his 80s, and the recipient of 14 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award for his Round Midnight film score, and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, Hancock continues to explore fresh sonic possibilities, collaborating with a new generation of contemporary artists like rapper Kendrick Lamar, jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington and young jazz duo DOMi and JD BECK.
